The traffic signal installation of traffic light infrastructure is based on LTA standards using the world recognised SCATS system. The maintenance of existing traffic light structure will also be handled by Eng Hup’s experienced team of engineers and technicians.

Street Light Installation
Street lighting poles are installed based on lux values and termination of cables at lanterns and distribution boxes.
Civil and Electrical Work
Earthwork excavation is done through trenching and pipe laying to facilitate cable pulling work. The cable connection work involves termination of electrical circuits.
Strategic Loop Counter/Car Park Loop
The loop sensors are cut for vehicle detection which can also be integrated to existing system for vehicle detection or for counting purposes.
Lane/Road Closure
The lane/road closure emphasises the implementation of safe and orderly traffic control in a work zone based on the LTA code of practice.
Installation of Bus Priority
The bus priority unit is a combination of GPS and 3G/4G wireless modem. The GPS unit is installed in the buses and uses M2M SIM card to communicate with the 3G/4G wireless modem located in the server room. The server will collect data from the buses and integrate with the traffic network. This allows intelligent management of the priority of buses during heavy traffic flow.
Expressway Monitoring Advisory System (EMAS)
The EMAS sign is installed by excavating the work site to plant the footing in and then lifting the structure using heavy machinery to sit onto the footing. Hardware integration is performed to integrate with the software system.
